What's Going On At The Museum?

The Physics of Baseball - Come for a day of Baseball fun and Science
Join CMOST staff and the Tri-City Valley Cats as we explore the science behind baseball! We’ll have a number of different workshops where we do things such as discover the sweet spot on the bat, explore the bounciness of balls and imagine what baseball would be like without momentum!

Tuesday, August 14th, 3:30 PM
BKFK Brainstorm Challenge: Race Cars
Kids will brainstorm different car designs and then bring them to life using minimal supplies! The challenge is to see whose car will roll the furthest with the assistance of an inclined ramp. Ages 8+; Pre-registration is required. Session is limited to 20 participants.

My Parent and Me

Each "My Parent and Me" class provides parents and children ages 2-3 and 4-5 the opportunity to discover the wonders of science in an exciting and stimulating environment. Every week a new educational theme is explored through several mediums including stories, song and game, interactive animal shows , arts and crafts and a preschool education component.
